Atlas powers the next generation of on-chain data infrastructure, succeeding the Binance Oracle

George Town, Cayman Islands, May 6, 2026, Chainwire

atlasCoinMarketCap (CMC), an oracle blockchain infrastructure provider powered by CoinMarketCap (CMC), announced today that it is taking over oversight of oracle services previously managed by Binance Oracle. This transition covers price feeds and data delivery across BNB Chain, opBNB and other applicable networks.

Oracle Binance A 90-day transition period has begun during which Atlas will gradually assume responsibility for related services. Existing projects and partners are strongly encouraged to engage with the Atlas team as soon as possible and make any necessary technical, product and operational migration arrangements to ensure service continuity and stability.

Atlas offers configurability at the protocol level, allowing migrating projects to customize their data infrastructure to their specific requirements. This includes the choice of clustering methods such as median, TWAP, VWAP, and trimmed mean, as well as stability thresholds for each pair, confidence bands, and updating rhythms. For projects migrating from the Binance Oracle, this provides service continuity and expanded control over how on-chain data is consumed.

The migration also provides direct access to CoinMarketCap’s core data infrastructure, which aggregates pricing information from over 905 sources; Much more than the current industry standard. This enables powerful external filtering and accurate price discovery, especially for long-lived assets and newly listed assets. Atlas’ consensus scoring mechanism secures price credibility based on availability, consensus and volume support, while providing instant coverage of long-term assets without manual setup delays.

Atlas has already completed integrations with major BNB chain protocols, including the Venus and Lista DAO protocol. These integrations demonstrate operational readiness and provide a frame of reference for other projects planning to migrate from Binance Oracle.

Jane Zhou, CEO of Atlascommented on the transition: “Our priority now is developers. Infrastructure migration is always a heavy burden for any protocol, so we designed this process to be as straightforward as possible. We are stepping in to not only maintain these feeds, but also upgrade them. By routing this data directly through Atlas’ first-party infrastructure, we are giving these projects access to a deeper, more flexible data layer.”

Projects that fail to complete engagement with the Atlas team and corresponding migration arrangements within a 90-day transition period may experience service outages, unavailable data, or delayed updates. The Atlas team has created a dedicated support channel to help with integrations. Projects using Binance Oracle are strongly encouraged to start the migration process immediately to ensure no service disruption.

atlas It is a blockchain oracle infrastructure provider powered by CoinMarketCap. Leveraging first-party data directly from CoinMarketCap, Atlas provides configurable, permissionless data feeds secured through its consensus points mechanism. Atlas provides high-frequency price feeds and data services to DeFi protocols, decentralized applications, and institutional users across leading blockchain ecosystems.

About Binance Oracle

Oracle Binance It is a blockchain oracle service developed by Binance to connect smart contracts to trusted, authenticated off-chain data. Originally designed for the BNB Chain ecosystem, it allows decentralized applications to securely access real-world information without having to manage complex data infrastructure themselves. For developers, this means fewer distractions around data reliability and more focus on building meaningful products.
