PTCCToday, the world’s longest-running cryptocurrency exchange announced the launch of the BTCC x AFA Trading Championship, a futures trading competition running from May 6 to May 26, 2026. The campaign features a prize pool of over $1 million USD, with the final reward reserved for the #1 ranked trader: a signed jersey from Lionel Messi, captain of the Argentine national football team.
The competition is open to all registered users. Traders compete on two separate leaderboards: the Futures Trading Volume Leaderboard, where the prize pool opens up dynamically based on total community trading volume, and the Individual Profit Rate Leaderboard, which offers a custom prize pool of $80,000 to the traders with the highest returns.
Bonuses can be claimed from both pools simultaneously, giving skilled traders of all styles multiple ways to earn rewards.
The tournament is the latest campaign under the BTCC’s partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA), covering the full 2026 FIFA World Cup calendar.
