Bitget has launched Stock+, allowing eligible users to buy real US stocks and digital asset ETFs through a single account. The service converts cryptocurrency funds into USDC before routing stock orders through licensed brokerage partners. The launch expands Bitget’s strategy of integrating cryptocurrencies, token assets, commodities and stocks within a single platform.
Stock+ adds direct ownership and partial access
Petgate Stock+ said it provides ownership of underlying stocks rather than synthetic exposure or derivatives contracts. Users can receive cash dividends, benefit from stock splits, and access equity through structured custody arrangements. The service also supports purchases of 0.0001 shares, reducing entry requirements for users with small balances.
Orders pass through RQD Clearing and Atomic Vaults Securities before arriving at major US trading venues. Users can trade during pre-market, regular, after-hours, and overnight sessions, depending on market and product availability. Bitget also offers free Tier 1 market data, while trading fees start at 0.1% per completed transaction.
The platform supports inbound transfers from participating brokers, so users can combine existing shares with digital asset balances. However, Bitget has not confirmed whether outbound stock transfers will become available immediately after the product launch. Access will depend on regional rules, mediation arrangements and client eligibility within each supported jurisdiction.
Stocks 2.0 expands Bitget’s multi-asset strategy
Stock+ forms part of Bitget’s broader Stocks 2.0 programme, targeting traditional markets and real-world assets. Earlier in June, the company introduced Reality, a regulated tokenization protocol that supports rToken’s growing suite of products. These products provide blockchain-based exposure to over 500 US stocks and ETFs through broker-linked structures.
Petgate Assets under management across tokenized equity products have exceeded $50 million since launch, it said. The new service now places direct stock ownership alongside token alternatives in the same account environment. Users can choose regulated brokerage shares or blockchain-based exposure, depending on their preferred ownership structure.
The launch pits Bitget against platforms that already combine cryptocurrencies with stocks and other traditional financial products. Kraken, Robinhood, eToro, Interactive Brokers, and Public provide different forms of access to cryptocurrencies and the stock market. Meanwhile, many exchanges and protocols continue to expand token shares, stablecoin settlement, and broader multi-asset trading services.
Petgate Stablecoins are used as a funding bridge while maintaining the regulated execution of direct stock purchases. This structure reduces transfers between banks, brokers and cryptocurrency exchanges for qualified users who already own digital assets. Stock+ thus enhances Bitget’s efforts to provide crypto and traditional market exposure through a single trading platform.
