Billed as the blockchain hub of the Mid-Atlantic region, the event is co-hosted by the Blockchain Legal Institute and the Maryland Blockchain Association. Its mission is straightforward: to boost the economy by creating a talent pipeline in innovative technology. Organizers aim to upskill young people to become blockchain and AI practitioners while seeding Maryland’s growing digital asset economy, which the association sees as a more than $10 billion opportunity.
The program brings together a broad ecosystem of researchers, founders, investors, developers, legal experts and public servants into a single environment where technology ideas can move from discussion to application. Confirmed speakers include SEC Commissioner Hester M. Peirce, leader of the SEC’s Cryptocurrency Task Force; Dr. W. Scott Stornetta and Stuart Haber, co-developers of early blockchain technology; Dale Christie, blockchain strategist at FedEx; and Graham Dodge, vice president at TEDCO. Maryland lawmakers, including U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks, State Senator Dr. Ron Watson, and Delegates Adrian Boafo and Pam Quinn, compiled a list that links global expertise with local momentum.
The week focuses on six hours per day Interactive Workshops For an intentionally broad audience: high school and college students, teachers, guidance counselors, attorneys, accountants, entrepreneurs, government workers, real estate and healthcare professionals, retirees, and workforce partners. Workshop tracks include AI and Coding for Nonprofits; Artificial Intelligence, AI Agents, and Business; cybersecurity; Fintech ecosystem; Government blockchain basics; International Trade Task Forces and Embassies; stablecoins; Accounting and tax workshops. A hackathon, Exhibitsand coordinated side events, incl CryptoMondays and BitAngelsrunning alongside the main conference.
