FinWise owns the Full Card Tech Stack after acquiring the Tallied platform


According to the release, Tallied Technologies’ credit card issuance and processing platform supported FinWise Bank’s co-branded credit card programs.

With the platform acquisition, FinWise now has a comprehensive card technology suite that includes everything from application to issuance, processing and servicing, according to the release.

Tallied’s engineering and operations team has joined FinWise, according to the release.

This deal allows FinWise to retain the fees, exchange economics and interest on software running on the Tallied platform; proprietary technology already integrated into FinWise Bank’s systems; and accelerating its product roadmap, according to the release.

FinWise has worked closely with the Tallied platform over the past 12 months and decided to purchase the platform when it became available, FinWise Bancorp CEO Jim Noon he said in the release.

“We have structured this transaction with the capital profile our shareholders expect: a modest, clear near-term investment in exchange for proprietary technology assets that we believe will double in value across our fintech lending, payments and cards businesses,” Noon said.
