Coinbase has launched perpetual stock futures for eligible non-U.S. users, expanding its offerings of cryptocurrency, stock, and forecasting markets.
The launch comes at a time when perpetual futures contracts have gained wider adoption, With monthly trading volume on decentralized exchanges exceeding US$1.2 trillion in 2025where investors used practices to manage risks amidst stable spot markets.
“Everything Exchange” adds permanent shares abroad
The company said in a blog post on Friday that the product is not available to US people at the moment, but it is “working to expand this offering to additional regions in the future.”

Contracts are accessible on Coinbase Advanced for retail and Coinbase International users exchange For institutions. It provides leveraged and cash-settled exposure to major US stocks and indices, including Apple and Nvidia, in a format familiar to cryptocurrency traders.
This launch follows previous moves by Coinbase to offer regulated cryptocurrency futures and fiat stocks 24/7 in the US, along with Kalshi-powered prediction markets in all 50 states. The company described its platform as an “everything exchange” where users can switch between tokens, stocks, and event contracts.

Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, said in January that the company’s top priority was to expand the Everything Everything exchange globally across cryptocurrencies, stocks, prediction markets and commodities, covering spot, futures and options.
Currently, perpetual shares are only available to non-US clients. In Europe, Coinbase launched perpetual futures contracts for Coinbase Advanced users in 26 countries under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive entity earlier in March.
