Swiss organization Trust Linkthe first platform to enable direct settlement of fiat currencies from self-custodial cryptocurrency wallets to third-party bank accounts, has integrated Ripple Payments into its direct payment infrastructure. This integration extends TrustLinq’s fiat settlement reach across major global lanes, enabling faster and more cost-effective local payments in more than 80 currencies across more than 170 countries.
TrustLinq CH AG, a Swiss-regulated cryptocurrency settlement service for third-party securities settlement, processes direct transactions through Ripple Payments, the cross-border payments infrastructure operated by TrustLinq CH AG. ripplea leading provider of blockchain-based enterprise solutions across traditional and digital finance. The integration adds Ripple’s infrastructure and enables real-time multi-rail settlement across fiat and digital assets to TrustLinq’s existing payment rail suite, which already includes SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, Faster Payments, over 170 countries and over 80 currencies including 60 local banking lanes.
TrustLinq’s core functionality is different from standard cryptographic ramps. Users fund the payment from their stablecoin wallet, and TrustLinq settles it directly as a local bank transfer in cash to the recipient’s bank account. The sender does not need an exchange or bank account. The recipient does not need a crypto wallet or TrustLinq account. Payment arrives as a standard local bank transfer to the recipient. Ripple payments now form part of the infrastructure that makes this settlement possible across a wide range of lanes.
With over $100 billion in processing volume globally and coverage across more than 60 markets, Ripple Payments is the comprehensive solution for moving money across borders, giving organizations a faster and more transparent way to send, receive and settle money in both fiat and stablecoins. The addition of the Ripple network reduces TrustLinq’s reliance on correspondent banking, expanding direct access to local lanes beyond the reach of traditional correspondent banks and SWIFT routing.
“TrustLinq exists to make cryptocurrencies act as real money for real payments. When someone sends a supplier invoice, pays rent, or disburses a contractor fee across borders, the payment arrives as a standard bank transfer in the recipient’s local currency. Integrating Ripple Payments strengthens the infrastructure behind this promise and expands our reach across the corridors that matter to our users.” Lily Metodieva, co-founder of TrustLinq.
TrustLinq supports USDT (ERC-20 and TRC-20), USDC, and EURC. The service is live and available to individual and business users on Trustlinq.com.
