Large product organizations do not primarily use Figma to create displays. They use it to maintain shared design systems, manage version control, and manage collaboration across distributed teams. Why enterprise teams stay
The clearest evidence came not from revenue but from behavior. After Figma began enforcing artificial intelligence (AI) usage limits in March, the vast majority of enterprise customers who reached the cap chose to purchase more credits. What Figma’s earnings results indicate is that the collaboration and governance layer — the part that sits across entire product organizations rather than within a single creator session — has proven to be more robust than the generation layer. Creating a screen is now cheaper and faster across every tool. Coordinating what happens to that screen across a thirty-person product team is still a problem Figma has to solve.
