SBI Holdings, an important partner of Ripple in Japan, has bought a majority stake in Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinhako. The deal closed on July 16 once it was approved by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). With the acquisition, Coinhako will become a consolidated subsidiary of SBI Holdings.
