Elon Musk’s X launches ‘big charts’ for BTC, ETH, XRP, HYPE, MSTR, COIN and more


In a move that reinforces Elon Musk’s vision of X as an “app for everything,” the platform launched Big Charts today. This is an upgrade to the existing Smart Cashtags feature for cryptocurrencies and stocks, including BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, DOGE, HYPE, TSLA, MSTR, and COIN.

Big Charts adds larger, interactive, real-time financial data to users’ timelines. It is currently only available on iOS and web.

in Share X On June 12, Nikita Beer, head of product for X, revealed that Elon Musk’s platform had launched the Big Charts feature. This comes in response to user feedback calling for larger, more usable charts and an expanded real-time financial data experience on X.

Users need to embed them in posts with Cashtags and just click on the chart to expand it before publishing. Users will see matching crypto stocks or tokens when they search for or post a coin token or contract address. Clicking on critique tags will allow users to see related posts and their price chart.

“We heard you liked the charts, so we made them bigger,” Nikita Beer said. It displays the live price, but also allows users to select a specific time frame to show the performance of stocks and crypto assets such as BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, DOGE, HYPE, TSLA, MSTR, and COIN.

However, X has limited the smart cash tokens to three. Bear added that X’s new Big Charts feature will support technical analysis soon, saying “two more surprises before the week is out.” Notably, users can now also trade SpaceX (SPCX) directly from the X platform as SpaceX’s IPO is attracting significant attention.

Users can type or click on monetary marks to see X’s new expanded Big Chart feature. It supports real-time price options, % change, volume, and multiple time frames. The feature is available for crypto assets such as BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, DOGE, HYPE, BONK, USDT, USDC and other altcoins.

It also supports major stocks like Nvidia (NVDA), Tesla (TSLA), Strategy (MSTR), and Coinbase (COIN). As CoinGape previously reported, Elon Musk’s X Smart Cashtags launched For the crypto community.
