The new venture was co-founded by Ahmed Al Khawanki, who also serves as the group’s Chief Product Officer.

Announcing the launch on LinkedIn, he noted that the team “stripped out all the outdated trading clutter.”

Along with the brand’s more fintech aesthetic, the note suggests it may be targeting a younger demographic.

The organizational setting is also notable.

Rise operates only under a license from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, while Ingot – the group’s flagship brand – is licensed across jurisdictions, including Cyprus, where it has expanded its physical presence with a new office in Limassol in 2026, adding to its presence in Jordan, Australia, Dubai and Kenya.

What might be driving this? More structural than cyclical: Generation Z is more likely than previous generations to take an active role in managing their finances.

Others push the boundaries even further.

CMC Markets has Introduce a Junior Cash ISAlong-term, tax-free savings accounts for children, via its CMC Invest platform, while Robinhood participates in developing “Trump Accounts” Tax-advantaged savings plan for children.

Such initiatives replicate familiar rules of the game from retail banking: developing customers early through youth-oriented products and expanding the relationship with family, which may ensure long-term customer loyalty in an increasingly competitive market.
