LCG UK slides into losses with revenue down 18% and expenses up in 2025


The UK unit of London Capital Group, which acts as an introducing broker, announced a decline in revenues and a return to losses for the year ending 31 December 2025.

Revenue for the year was £1.69m, down from £2.07m in 2024. The company reported no cost of sales in 2025, compared to £16,132 the previous year. Gross profit therefore equates to revenue at £1.69m, down from £2.09m the previous year.

Costs rise, and LCG swings into loss

Operating costs increased during this period. Administrative expenses rose to £1.77m from £1.61m in 2024. The higher cost base, coupled with lower revenues, pushed the company back into an operating loss. The operating result was a loss of £78,142, compared to an operating profit of £482,105 in the previous year.

Below the operating line, finance income rose to £10,224 from £4,191. Finance costs fell to £592 from £8,588. This resulted in a net finance income of £9,632, compared to a net finance cost of £4,397 in 2024.

After financial items, the company recorded a pre-tax loss of £68,510. This compares to a pre-tax profit of £477,708 in 2024. This year’s net result was also a loss of £68,510, reversing the previous year’s profitability.

LCGs are separate from holdings

LCG was previously part of London Capital Group Holdings, the previously listed parent company which was delisted and later entered liquidation following financial difficulties after 2018.
