John Murphy has been appointed Managing Director of Scope Markets, part of the ROSTRO Financial Group. The move is internal, as he has spent the past three years within the group. He joined Scope Markets as Chief Revenue Officer in early 2022 following the brand’s acquisition by ROSTRO. He has also served as chief commercial officer of ROSTRO Group since March 2025, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Murphy noted that he will focus on accelerating the company’s retail growth strategy and delivering value to customers, partners and stakeholders. He has nearly two decades of retail trading experience, including roles at FXCM, Alpari, and nearly eight years at OANDA.

Match-Trade is hiring a new head of support trading platform
Meanwhile, Match-Trade Technologies It has appointed Serhii Poplavskyi to lead its Match-Trader platformand tasked him with driving greater adoption among trading firms and brokers using new prediction markets offerings.
It will focus on expanding the platform’s usage, improving its charting tools and expanding its CRM, while building on the Match-Trade prediction markets product launched for brokers in April.
Poplavskyi has more than 15 years of experience in the brokerage and trading side of the industry. He spent more than a decade at FIBO Group, where he managed the company’s Ukraine office and later led its expansion into Latin America from Costa Rica, most recently serving as Sales Director at D Prime.

eToro’s US president is stepping down after two years
Andrew McCormick has stepped down from his role as head of eToro’s US operations after almost two years in the role. He announced his departure on LinkedIn, describing his time at the company as an “unforgettable adventure,” reflecting on the challenging work, lessons learned, and the team he has worked with over the past four and a half years.
Alan Tennecon, who currently serves as head of operations and services for eToro’s US business, will assume McCormick’s responsibilities, eToro said. McCormick has been promoted to lead eToro US after previously serving as US Senior Advisor for over two years, following the departure of former US CEO Lolly Demissie.

BMLL is hiring a Chief Revenue Officer to lead global sales
Elsewhere, BMLL has appointed Michael Chiappinelli as chief revenue officer, giving the market data company US-based commercial leadership to oversee global sales. He will report to CEO Paul Humphrey and join the company’s executive management team, responsible for expanding BMLL’s international presence and strengthening relationships with institutional clients.
The role is BMLL’s most significant commercial appointment since Nordic Capital acquired the company last October in a deal that also included market maker Optiver as an existing minority shareholder. Since the acquisition, BMLL has been on a hiring spree, adding Karen King as head of sales for Asia Pacific in January, US derivatives sales leader in March, and another nine hires in April across partnerships, sales, revenue operations, finance and engineering.

Lee Holmes is stepping down as CEO of Infinox UK
Lee Holmes is scheduled to step down from his position as CEO of Infinox’s UK unit at the end of last month, about a year after assuming the position. He remains with the wider Infinox group, but the company has not yet revealed who will replace him as head of the UK entity regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Infinox said Holmes continues to take a senior role in the global business, focusing on its IXO Prime enterprise offering.
The broker explained that his departure from the board of INFINOX Capital Ltd and the related SMF3 role is a structural change specific to the UK entity, as the group aligns senior responsibilities with areas of long-term growth, including IXO Prime, along with operations in Mauritius, Anguilla and Cyprus.

OANDA Europe appoints new CEO
Finally, Lucien Loermann has been promoted to CEO of OANDA Europe. The move came alongside broader leadership changes associated with the OANDA acquisition. FTMO founders Otakar Šuffner and Marek Vašíček have taken over as co-CEOs of the wider group following the departure of former CEO Gavin Bambury.
Loeherman previously served as Executive Vice President of Operations for more than two years before assuming the CEO role. Previously, he was Head of Digital Assets for about two and a half years, focusing on crypto-related initiatives, and before that he spent just over two years as Head of Data Services, also based in London.
